Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Tragget collects, why, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to the Tragget web application, the mobile web application and tragget.com. Tragget is operated by Tragget Technology Inc. ("Tragget", "we", "us"), Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.

Tragget is business software. Construction, trucking and material-delivery companies use it to dispatch work, record truck tickets and timesheets, approve them, and invoice each other. Most personal information in Tragget is about people at one company that another company needs to see in order to do the work together. This policy describes that sharing in detail in section 4.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Your account. For the information you give us to create and run your own account (your name, email, phone, password and photo), Tragget decides how it is used and is responsible for it.

Information a company enters. Companies use Tragget to record their own work: tickets, timesheets, rates, invoices, and details about their employees, drivers and contacts. Tragget stores and processes that information on the company's behalf. The company decides what it enters and who it shares it with, and is responsible for having the consent of the people it enters information about. If your employer or a company you work with entered information about you, you can also ask that company directly.

2. What we collect

• Account: your name, email address, phone number, password (stored only in a form that cannot be read back), your role at each company, and an optional profile photo.
• Company: company name, business number, WorkSafe number, address, logo, tax registration numbers, and the people who work there.
• Jobs: projects, dispatches and truck tickets, including pickup and drop-off addresses, start and end times, hours, loads, truck and trailer plates, driver notes, photos of paper tickets, and who approved each ticket and when.
• Time and money: timesheets, rates, invoices, credit notes, and records of payments between companies. For drivers who invoice, an optional GST/HST registration number. Tragget never asks for, and you should never enter, a Social Insurance Number or a Social Security number. Card payments for a Tragget subscription are handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
• Messages and requests: messages on tickets, help requests you send us, and notifications we send you.
• Technical: sign-in records, a log of actions taken in the application (for example who approved or changed a ticket), browser and device information, and cookies (section 9).
• Agreement records: when you agreed to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, which versions, and the network address and browser you used.

We do not track your location. Tragget does not collect GPS or device location. Addresses in Tragget are the ones people type in for a job.

3. Why we use it

• To provide the service: run your account, show your work to the people you work with, produce tickets, timesheets and invoices, and send the notifications the service depends on.
• To keep the service secure: detect misuse, investigate problems, and keep an audit trail of who did what.
• To bill for our subscription and keep the records tax law requires.
• To support you when you contact us.
• To improve Tragget, using information about how the application is used.
• To send you news about Tragget, only if you agreed to receive it. Every such email has an unsubscribe link. Emails the service needs to work (a ticket to approve, an invoice, a password reset) are not marketing.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

4. Who can see your information

Tragget is built for companies to work together, so some of your information is visible to other companies on Tragget. This is what each one can see:

• Your own company sees the information it holds about you, according to the roles it gives its people.
• A connected company (a company that is your company's customer or vendor on Tragget, after one invited the other and the invitation was accepted) sees your company's business details and its contacts' names, roles, email addresses, phone numbers and profile photos.
• Companies on the same job see that job's tickets: the driver's name and photo, the truck and trailer plates, times, hours, loads, driver notes, the photo of the paper ticket, and who approved it. Each company sees only its own part of a job. Rates agreed between two other companies are not shown to it.
• An approver sees the tickets they are asked to approve and the people on them.
• A driver sees their own tickets, hours, timesheets and invoices.
• The public sees only what a company chooses to publish in Tragget's public company listing: its name, logo, description and featured photo.

Profile photos are optional. Your photo is shown to people at companies you work with on Tragget, wherever your name is shown to them. You can remove it at any time from your profile, and removing it deletes the file. Photos are not published at permanent public web addresses; the links to them expire within two days.

Service providers. We use the following companies to run Tragget. They may process personal information only to provide their service to us:

• Hosting: Hostinger. Our servers are located in [TO CONFIRM: country].
• Email delivery: [TO CONFIRM: provider and country].
• Payments for Tragget subscriptions: Stripe (United States).
• [TO CONFIRM: Google Ads conversion tracking on tragget.com's sign-up confirmation page (United States), if it is switched on; any other analytics.]

Some of these providers are in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that country, including access by its courts and authorities.

Legal reasons. We disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or to protect Tragget's rights, and if Tragget is sold or merged, to the new owner under this policy.

5. How long we keep it

• Account information: while your account is open.
• Tickets, timesheets, invoices and payment records: while the company account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally six years in Canada).
• The audit log of actions in the application: seven years.
• Notifications you have read: 90 days.
• Backups: 14 days, after which deleted information is gone from them too.
• Your profile photo: until you remove it or your account is deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and correct most of your information yourself in the application. You can also ask us, by email to privacy@tragget.com, to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your account and your personal information, except what the law requires us to keep (section 5), or what a company you worked with needs to keep for its own records;
• stop sending you marketing email, or withdraw a consent you gave.

We will answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. For information a company entered about you (section 1), we may pass your request to that company.

In Canada, if you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (oipc.bc.ca). We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the privacy laws of the provinces we serve. Tragget is not currently offered in Quebec.

In the United States, you may have additional rights under the privacy law of your state. Where such a law applies to Tragget, we will honour those rights; send your request to the same address.

7. Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, access controls inside the application, passwords stored only in unreadable form, private storage for photos and documents, and an audit log of changes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach of security affects your personal information and creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulators as the law requires, and we keep a record of every breach.

8. Age

Tragget is for businesses and the people who work for them. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

9. Cookies

The Tragget application uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. The marketing website tragget.com may use analytics or advertising cookies if they are switched on; your browser lets you block them.

10. Changes to this policy

Each version of this policy has a version number and an effective date. When we change it, we announce the change by email and in the application. The new version takes effect when it is announced, and you will be asked to accept it the next time you sign in.
